Is there an expiration on scheduled drug screenings for applicants?
Yes, Verified First can extend out the deadline as far as 31 days before expiration.
Can I change the default expiration timeline for a drug screen order?
Yes, Verified First can update the default expiration and set a cap on the length of time.
Where can I find the drug screening passport?
Quest passports will be emailed to the applicant/employee, the file orderer, and/or the file owner. eScreen passports, in addition to being emailed to the applicant and file orderer, can also be found as a file attachment within the portal.
How do I check the current status of my applicant's drug screen?
Contact Verified First Client Services for a status update on any pending drug screens.
How do I know if the applicant has gone in for drug testing yet?
Contact Verified First Client Services for a status update on any pending drug screens.
How long does a drug screen order last before expiring?
If the order is placed manually, the orderer will choose the expiration time when creating the order. For applicant email invites, Verified First can set the expiration date to what you prefer.
Do drug screens expire over the weekend?
Yes, this is because some clinics are open on the weekends. However, business day expirations can be toggled off/on to exclude weekends (to avoid weekend expirations) if preferred.
Why does my drug screening status for my applicant show as 'pending'?
The file will remain in a 'pending' status until final results are available.
Why aren’t results automatically posted to the Verified First portal?
For Quest products, results are automatically posted to the file when the lab has completed its testing, the order is expired, or the Medical Review Officer (MRO) has completed the verification process. For eScreen products, Verified First is currently in a Phase 1 integration where our team searches for results to upload to the applicant file. Please contact Verified First Client Services for a status update on any pending drug screens.
How do I change the Quest drug screening collection site for my applicants?
Click here and enter the zip code in the area you are needing to be able to select a new Quest drug screening location.
What happens if there are no clinics in the zip code requested?
Contact Verified First Client Services for any possible alternative options.
Will I be billed for expired/cancelled drug screens?
No, clients are only billed when the applicant completes the drug screen.
What do Occupational Health Results look like in the portal? (Physicals, TB Tests, X-Rays)
We only attach results certificates to files. No Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is provided, just a brief summarization. Users who have permission to view reports or file owner can email dsnotifications@verifiedfirst.com for full report.
