Order MVR w/ Monitoring via the Verified First Portal
Terminology
- Monitoring Pool: Your active group of drivers who are being monitored for Driver convictions, license status change, and/or suspension activity
- Embark: The vendor Verified First partners with for MVR Monitoring
Client Setup - Onboarding and Account Linking
A Verified First employee will assist in the setting up your MVR Monitoring account. A separate agreement will need to be completed for this. If you plan on having Driver's in your Monitoring Pool with a California or Utah license, add'l set up steps will be required
Order MVR w/ Monitoring
Please review how to create a direct order for general workflow and necessary user permissions.
After your MVR Monitoring account has been established by a VF employee and the product has been enabled on your Verified First Portal, you will log in to the portal and click Order in the top left corner:
Enter the employee(candidate) information at the top and select file orderer, subscribers, etc. (as applicable):
Note: There will now be 2 Motor Vehicle Report products. Motor Vehicle Report(MVR) will be just a 1 time search for the Driver's records. The MVR with Monitoring will run a time search for the Driver's records and allow the User to determine to also enable that driver into the monitoring pool. These 2 products can not be ordered together on the same file.
'MVR w/Monitoring' can be ordered with any other products except the standard Motor Vehicle search since an MVR is ran on both products, but one workflow will all you to add your driver to a monitoring pool
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Next.
If you do not have the signed disclosure and authorization forms and/or all of your candidate's personal information(DOB, SSN), you will need to place the order as an applicant invite order so the candidate can complete the missing information. On the MVR Monitoring product page, the following fields are required
- Issuing State
- License Number
- Duration lookback(if applicable)
- Address, city and Zip Code as listed on License
- It is important that the applicant’s current address is not entered, but as listed on the license.
Once all the information is entered, proceed to the order summary page and submit the order. Most states will have results back within a few minutes. Once search has completed client can view the report like any other.
Running the MVR w/Monitoring product DOES NOT automatically enable MVR Monitoring but just runs the MVR. To enable monitoring, user will hover over ‘Order Details’ and select ‘Activate MVR Monitoring’
If you do not wish to enable monitoring due to either the MVR report or any other reports on the file, simply treat this search like a standard MVR and do not enable Monitoring.
