Why is the inspection needed to add the Employment or Tenant Credit Report?
The FCRA federally mandates an onsite inspection to ensure that your business meets certain requirements to run this search for permissible purposes and shows proof that you are approved to run this type of search, should there ever be an audit.
What does the inspection do?
It verifies that your business is registered and complies with specific security requirements, ensuring that the information reported in a credit check is safe and secure.
The TruePic app will walk you through taking photos and ask various questions to submit.
Note: Unfortunately, because of these strict requirements, home offices are generally not approved.
Is there a fee for an inspection? Yes, the fee for an onsite inspection is $95. This is a fee assessed by TruPic and must be paid by the end-user/client (not VerifiedFirst).
Who completes the inspection?
Onsite inspections are handled and conducted by TruPic, via a mobile app.
What information do I need to provide to initiate the inspection?
The person completing the inspection will need to provide their name, email address, and mobile phone number.
What happens after the inspection is completed?
Verified First will notify the client that the inspection has been approved and will enable the applicable products on their portal.
