What is a “Determination Pending” and what you can expect

Determination Pending is when one or more items on the physical were not able to be completed due to the patient needing to provide additional information, obtain a note from their personal physician or return to complete a portion of the physical.

Some Examples:

• The patient has high blood pressure and needs to get on blood pressure medication or obtain a note from their primary care physician
• The applicant failed the vision test and needs to obtain prescription glasses

Most clinics allow 45 days for the patient to return but will list the latest return date on the physical form
