As part of placing an applicant invite order, users must select an option for the "state employment is located" field for the location of employment, volunteering, or tenancy. This selection drives required forms that will need to be signed by the candidate and ensures the proper disclosures are provided to the applicant. Your organization may have the desire to lock down the "state employment is located" so the applicant cannot change this selection when they complete the applicant portion of their screening.
Let's take a look at the differences in the applicant experience when this selection is locked versus not locked.
When a user places an order, they are required to select the state of employment/volunteer/tenancy here:
On an account where the "state employment is located" field is locked, the candidate will see this in their applicant invite screen, and will be unable to change the original selection that was made by the HR user:
However, the candidate will see this view when the "state employment is located" field is not locked, and will be able to change the selection in this field, if they choose:
Accounts are set up by default with "state employment is located" field not locked, so you will need to contact Client Services to have this setting applied to your account.
