Let's take a look at what ordering our Unlimited Products looks like in a direct order being placed.
Log in to the portal and click order in the top left-hand corner of the dashboard.
Enter the applicant's personal information and select the appropriate position, file owner, etc:
Scroll down to the product selection area of the order screen. You will now see 4 new products listed - Unlimited County Criminal Records, Unlimited Federal Criminal Records, Unlimited Federal Civil Records, and Unlimited County Civil Records:
Let's select one of the 4 unlimited products. You'll see verbiage on this product once you select it that tells you this search will provide you with jurisdictions from the last 7 years of history that is returned from the social security trace:
Click next, then enter the applicant's information:
On the next screen you will verify that the applicant's information you entered is correct before clicking process social security address trace.
Note: Once the social security address trace is initiated, there will be a charge for this service, even if the file is not completely submitted.
Once you click process social security address trace you'll see progress bars load as the search begins.
If the search takes longer than 15 seconds, this message will display indicating you can continue to wait for the search:
Processing does not take long, but if you do leave the page, you will receive an email once the Social Trace has processed and to continue the order
Once the social trace has processed, you will be presented with a screen that shows any associated jurisdictions and alias names (also called Developed Jurisdictions and Developed Names) for the applicant:
If you desire to have the alias name added to the order in addition to the jurisdiction, check the box next to the alias name desired and click Next to be taken to the order summary page:
Review the order one final time before submitting at the bottom of the page:
Let's take a peek at what is different for an applicant invite order with an unlimited jurisdiction product.
Applicant Invite - Manual Review Orders
Just like the direct order process above, log in to the portal and click order in the top left-hand corner of the dashboard.
Enter the applicant's personal information and select the appropriate position, file owner, etc:
Scroll down to the product selection area of the order screen. You will see 4 new products listed - Unlimited County Criminal Records, Unlimited Federal Criminal Records, Unlimited Federal Civil Records, and Unlimited County Civil Records:
After you've selected your unlimited product, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Send Invite. During the modal, select 'Manually Order' invite
Your candidate will then receive an email and/or text message with information on how to complete their portion of the applicant invite.
After opening the link via email or text, the candidate will be asked to acknowledge the disclosure form(s) and sign the authorization form(s). After doing so, they will be required to enter the necessary personal information. The final step is to review their information before completing their submission.
After the candidate fills out their invite, we will alert you via email so you can review and manually submit the order:
Once you log back into the VerifiedFirst application, the Social Trace will process based on the information entered by your applicant and you will be presented with the aliases and/or jurisdictions. Select your desired searches and submit the order to begin processing.
Applicant Invite - Auto-Order

After you've selected your unlimited product, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Send Invite. During the modal, select 'Auto-Order' invite
Your candidate will then receive an email and/or text message with information on how to complete their portion of the applicant invite.

After doing so, they will be required to enter the necessary personal information. The final step is to review their information before completing their submission.
After the candidate fills out their invite, you will receive an email notification that the file has started to process, including the Social Security Address Trace. If any aliases were identified on the Social Trace, you will receive an add'l email stating as such. To view the aliases, you will view your report and the Social Trace results and 'add to your order' any aliases of your choosing.
Note: Pre-pull functionality is not automatically turned on for all accounts, so if you would like to have the pre-pull functionality and unlimited products added to your account, please contact Client Services at 844-709-2708.
