What is this template?
This is the email your applicant will receive to begin the background check. Once they begin the process, they will be able to provide any required information to conduct the background check and to sign disclosures and authorization forms.
Can I customize the verbiage of this email template?
You can not customize the verbiage of your template on a per order basis, but we can update the verbiage on your account. Please contact the Verified First’s client services team for assistance or questions.
Please also ask us about creating up to 3 templates on your account. Some of our clients have expressed the need to have different verbiage in specific situations. We can allow up to 3 custom email templates to conduct the background check.
How do I choose which template to send?
In the Verified First Portal or Extension, as you are filling out your applicant’s information, you will be prompted to select ‘Send Invite with’. Depending on the option chosen, the email will be sent with specified verbiage.
If you are placing orders from your ATS/HRIS via an integration, we can configure your packages to be sent with a specific template. Any user with the “Add/Edit Packages” permission can go to your package settings and specify a specific template.
