Users can add notes to their files so they can document important information about the candidate that they don't want to lose!
Note: Please be advised that notes added to a file will not be transmitted to any vendors and does not trigger VF employees to take any action on the file. Additionally, be aware of what you are entering on the file as this information could potentially be shown to the candidate - in the event that they request the details of their file.
Portal Internal Client Notes
Let's take a look at how to add notes to a file in the portal.
Navigate to a file and locate the "Internal Client Notes" area on the left-hand side of the file view:
Hovering over the "i" icon will provide you with further information on what the internal client notes are, what they aren't, and expectations users can have when utilizing this functionality:
Click on the pencil icon and a text box will appear. Type your note in the text box, then click on the checkmark icon to save your note:
If you decide later that the information is no longer relevant to the file, you can delete the note by clicking on the trash can icon:
Extension Internal Client Notes/
Internal client notes can be added via the VF extension as well. Let's take a look at how to view and add notes in the extension.
Log in to the Verified First extension.
Access the file you desire. Click the Details Button to expand the left-hand panel:
Click on the pencil to add a note or click on the trash can icon to remove the note:
