By subscribing to a report, you will receive updates when that report has been completed. You can manually subscribe to a report of interest, or you can adjust your user settings to be automatically subscribed to all orders associated with other users.
In order to subscribe to all reports available, you'll need both the "Order Reports for Other Users" and "View All Reports for Other Users" permissions.
Note, if you are the owner of a report, you will automatically be subscribed to updates on that report. If you do not want to be subscribed to this report, you will need to select a new file owner when you are creating the order.
Adding Subscribers on the Order Page
To manually add a subscriber, on the Order Page, click on the link in the "Subscribed Users" box.
Select the user you want from the dropdown menu and select "Add User." Add as many subscribers as necessary and click "Done" when you're finished or "Cancel" to abandon your changes.
Adding Subscribers on a File after Order
To add a subscriber manually to a file after the order has been placed, click on the link below the "Account Name" field that lists how many users are currently subscribed to that file (typically says "1 Subscriber"). Select the new subscriber's name from the dropdown and select "Add User." Add as many subscribers as necessary and click "Done" when you're finished.
Adding Subscribers Automatically to Future Orders
You can automatically subscribe users to orders that other users submit. This is great for HR teams who want to know the status of all of their company's background screens, even if they didn't place the order initially.
To automatically subscribe users to orders that are made by other users, go to the "Users" admin tab and select the user (User A) with the reports that you want to automatically subscribe another user (User B) to. Both users will need the "Order Reports for Other Users" and "View All Reports for Other Users" permissions.
Drop down the "Subscribed Users" field and select the user you want to be subscribed to this user's orders.
Users with Limited Access as Subscribers
Users with unchecked 'Report Details' sub-permission are able to receive 'Partial Report' and 'Complete Report' emails, if desired, even if they are not able to view the details of the reports.
Simply add the limited-access user as a subscriber on the file and they will automatically receive update emails as the file proceeds through its lifecycle - even though they are not the file owner (even if they were the file orderer).
