KPI/Dashboard Reporting

The KPIs page in your Verified First portal shows your screening activity at a glance. Here is what every number on it means. Sample data is shown throughout.

Who can see this page.

KPIs appears for users who have the View Reporting permission. If you do not see KPIS in your left menu, ask whoever administers your Verified First account to turn on View Reporting for your user.

Start here: the three controls at the top

Control	What it Does
Account selector (top right)	Chooses which account the numbers come from.
Full Hierarchy	Set to YES to include your sub-accounts in every number. Set to NO for the selected account only. This control appears only if your account has sub-accounts.
Date range	Pick 30D, 90D, 12 MO or YTD, or type your own dates and click APPLY. Everything on the page follows this range.

The five tiles

Tile	What it means
90% Turnaround Time	Your average time from order to completion, with the slowest 10% of files set aside. A view of how a typical file performs.
Total Files Ordered	Files created in your date range, with the change against the previous period of the same length.
Avg Turnaround	Your average time from order to completion across all completed files, blended across every product you order.
% Delayed by Applicant	Of your total turnaround time, the share spent waiting for applicants to complete their part.
Locations	How many different applicant states appear across your files. This tile always counts applicant states, wherever the roles themselves are based.

The two charts

Chart	What it means
Volume	Files ordered per month, counted by the date each file was created. Hover any bar for the exact number.
Turnaround Time	The share of each month's completed files that finished within 3 days.

What you ordered: Products and Packages

Section	What it means
Products	How many files included each individual product, ranked.
Packages	How many files were ordered under each package, ranked.

Where your files stand: Order Status and Sub-accounts

Section	What it means
Order Status	Every file in your date range, grouped by its current status. The number in the middle is your total.
By Sub-account	Files ordered and average turnaround for each account in your hierarchy.

The size of each status is the useful part. Where files gather is where the queue is, so a large Ready for Review count means results are back and waiting on your team to review them.

Where your applicants are: Geographic File Volume

Files by state, shaded darker where you order more. The Top States list on the right ranks them, and includes any location that cannot be placed on the map.

The toggle beside the heading gives you two views:

Applicant State is where your candidates live, taken from the address on each applicant's file.
Job State is where the role itself is based.

Good to know

You need the View Reporting permission to see the KPIs page at all.
Product counts add up to more than your total files. A file ordered with three products counts once against each of them.
Turnaround figures use completed files only. Files still in progress are not included.
Applicant State and Job State will not match. They measure where candidates live and where roles sit, which are often different places.
