Legacy Microsoft Edge Browser End of Life

Background

Microsoft will be ending support for the Legacy Microsoft Edge web browser as of March 9th, 2021. This means that security updates will no longer be provided by Microsoft for this older version of Edge. As a result, Verified First has ended support for the legacy version of the Microsoft Edge browser as of February 1, 2021.

“We will be ending support for the legacy version of the Microsoft Edge desktop app on March 9, 2021, in favor of the new Microsoft Edge. This means that the legacy version of the desktop app will no longer receive security updates.”
